Do I need to turn off the water or remove the valve?
No. Each ring is split, so it snaps around the pipe while everything stays connected.
Will it fit my pipe?
It fits standard 1/2", 3/4" and 1" pipes, which covers most sink, toilet, shower and washer supply lines. Measure your pipe and the hole around it before ordering. The cover is 75 mm (about 3") across.
How big a hole can it hide?
Any gap inside the 75 mm outer diameter. Stack more layers if the hole is deep or the wall surface is uneven.
Is it metal?
It's electroplated ABS. That means it's light, waterproof and won't rust, with a polished metal look.
How many do I need?
Usually one per pipe. A sink with hot and cold lines needs one pair; a whole bathroom (sink, toilet, shower) usually needs 2–3 pairs.
