Micro-dial tensioner
A geared dial pulls internal cables evenly around the joint. Turn it a click at a time until it is right. It cannot slip back on its own the way a velcro strap does.

Read this before you buy
The single most common mistake people make buying braces like this online is assuming they arrive as a pair. They do not — not ours, not anyone's at this price. Each brace is cut for a specific leg, which is exactly why it holds the way it does. If both knees need help, take the two-pack.

Shown mirrored to illustrate the two cuts. Pick your side above — or take two and get one of each.
What you are actually buying
A $12 compression sleeve squeezes. That is its whole strategy. This does five separate things, and the difference shows up around hour three of a long day. Tap a marker to see which part is which.
A geared dial pulls internal cables evenly around the joint. Turn it a click at a time until it is right. It cannot slip back on its own the way a velcro strap does.
A silicone doughnut that surrounds the kneecap and holds it centred, absorbing the impact that makes descending stairs so unpleasant.
Flexible spring stays either side of the joint. They resist the sideways twist — the movement that causes most meniscus grief — without blocking the bend.
Two bands grip skin at the top and bottom cuff. This is the part that stops the sleeve migrating down your calf after twenty minutes of walking.
Denser knit over the joint for warmth and support, open channels behind the knee so it vents. You can wear it under trousers without noticing it.
Putting it on
Slide it over the foot and up the leg like a sock, until the gel ring sits around the kneecap. No straps to thread, no clips.
Click it tighter until the joint feels held but your toes stay warm. Most people land three to five clicks in.
That is it. Adjust on the move if you want more support going downhill, less when you sit down.
Where it sits
Most people who end up here have already tried one of the other two.
| Pharmacy sleeve | This brace | Rigid hinged brace | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Adjustable pressure | Fixed — you get what you get | Infinite, by dial | Straps, which loosen |
| Stays put walking | Rolls down | Silicone grip on skin | Yes, it is bolted on |
| Kneecap protection | None | Gel ring | Hard shell |
| Wearable all day | Yes | Yes | Hot, bulky, obvious |
| Fits under trousers | Yes | Yes | No |
| Typical price | $12–20 | $49.90 | $90–250 |
Straight answer: if you have had surgery and a clinician told you to wear a hinged brace, wear the hinged brace. This is for the ache, the instability and the stairs — not for replacing medical advice.
Sizing
Too loose and it slides. Too tight and your calf goes numb by hour two. Weight gets you to the right size nine times out of ten; measure if you are on a boundary. Every brace is 31cm long.
| Size | Body weight | Around the leg, above the knee | Around the leg, below the knee |
|---|---|---|---|
| M | 45–65 kg / 99–143 lb | 30–40 cm | 25–30 cm |
| L | 65–85 kg / 143–187 lb | 32–48 cm | 28–38 cm |
| XL | 85–105 kg / 187–231 lb | 36–56 cm | 32–45 cm |
| 2XL | 105–125 kg / 231–276 lb | 42–64 cm | 37–51 cm |

What buyers say
We are new to selling this brace, so we are not going to pretend we have fifty thousand customers. These are verified purchase reviews for this exact brace from the manufacturer's marketplace listing — published unedited, including the lukewarm ones.
“A good knee pad. Supports the knee without squeezing the soft tissues. Super fast delivery.”
“I tried using the right one and it was so good that I ordered the left one too. I thought it was a pair, but it turned out to be delivered as one piece each.”
“Works great, it is supporting my right knee perfectly and it is very easy to use.”
“I tried it yesterday for training and it provided very good support for the knee.”
“Looks and feels great when wearing. Highly recommended.”
“It arrived quickly and without any issues. It is exactly as described in the listing.”
Two of the 68 rated it low, both saying they expected more rigid protection. If you want a hard shell, this is not that — see the comparison above.

Not a week. Wear it on the stairs, on the walk, at work. If your knee is not meaningfully better off, email us and we will refund you. You do not need to fight us for it and you do not need to post it back in the original packaging.
Choose your side and sizeBefore you ask
One brace, for one knee. Pick left or right at the top of this page. If you need both, the two-pack lets you configure each one separately — you can even order one of each side, different sizes.
Two silicone bands grip skin rather than fabric, and the dial pulls the sleeve in around the joint rather than just squeezing from above. Wear it against bare skin, not over leggings, or the grip has nothing to hold.
Yes, and it is the use case the dial suits best — tighten before you set off, loosen a click when you stop. If running is your main use, size down.
Up to about eight hours. Take it off if you feel pins and needles, numbness or see marks that do not fade — that means it is too tight, not that it is working.
No. It supports the joint, takes load off the kneecap and limits the sideways movement that hurts. That is often enough to get people walking, gardening and training again. It does not repair cartilage and it is not a substitute for seeing a physio about persistent pain.
Ask your surgeon or physio first. Post-operative recovery often calls for a hinged brace with a controlled range of motion, which this is not.
Hand wash cool, air dry. It will survive a gentle machine cycle in a bag, but the silicone grip lasts considerably longer if you do not.
Five to nine business days, tracked. Thirty days to return it for any reason including simply not getting on with it.
